Play Holi with Katrina Kaif’s pichkari, Vidya Balan’s colour

Holi is one of the biggest religious festivals of India and items like Holi gulal and pichkari are sold largely in this season. This year, colours and pichkari inspired by Bollywood films are invading the market. Especially, Katrina Kaif’s pichkaris and Vidya Balan’s colours are creating a buzz in the market.

According to shopkeepers, Holi products inspired by the movies like Agneepath, The Dirty Picture and Desi Boys have already hit the shelves in the market. The youngsters in the cities are very much fascinated by these products, which carry the pictures of Katrina Kaif and Vidya Balan on them.

The bottles of 'Chikni Chameli' spray colour carry the picture of Katrina Kaif on them and one bottle of spray is priced Rs 20. 'The Dirty Picture' colour pack has images of Vidya Balan, Tusshar Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah on it and it is being sold for Rs 18. A shopkeeper says that Vidya Balan gulal is very popular in the market.

Meanwhile, the products inspired by other movies also hit the market. 'Dabanng' inspired Holi items have also got lot of demand. A shopkeeper says that the 'Dabanng' pichkaaris have become bestsellers in the market. 'Agneepath' pichkari is priced at Rs 150. Akshay Kumar and John Abraham's acting in Desi Boyz has also inspired a water gun. These pichkaris and colours are also available online.
