It
is
well-known
that
actress
Mallika
Sherawat
manages
to
steal
the
show
wherever
she
goes.
The
65th
Cannes
film
festival
was
not
an
exception
to
this
bold
Indian
star.
She
surprised
everyone
at
the
Cannes
premiere
of
Madagascar
3,
as
she
walked
the
red
carpet
wearing
a
backless
dress
and
a
retro
makeup
and
hairstyle.
Mallika
Sherawat
sported
a
plunging
backless
dress
that
was
held
together
by
a
thin
blingy
belt
at
her
waist.
She
donned
winged
eyeliner
and
a
bouffant
like
Saira
Banu.
Although
she
looked
simple
in
this
getup,
it
was
obviously
her
bold
act.
The
actress
says
that
this
dress
was
stitched
on
her
body
on
the
spot
by
a
French
fashion
designer.
Talking
to
Rajeev
Masand
of
IBN
Live,
Mallika
Sherawat
said,
“I
am
wearing
Katara
outfit,
which
is
literally
stitched
on
my
body.
It
is
designed
by
Ali
Madhavi,
a
great
fashion
icon
from
France.
He
came
here
in
the
morning
with
his
gang
and
he
stitched
this
outfit
on
me.
He
really
made
it
for
me
and
nothing
like
this
exists
in
the
world.”
However,
Mallika
Sherawat
thinks
that
sporting
a
perfect
fashion
look
is
a
toughest
job.
The
Hisss
actress
added,
“It
is
the
hardest
thing
in
the
world
to
look
good
and
everything
to
par
perfection
in
front
of
hundreds
of
photographers...
it
is
the
toughest
thing
in
the
world.”
