Poonam Pandey is a semi-porn actress: Rozlyn Khan

Unlike other models, she is someone who dared to bare it all for a good cause. Model Rozlyn Khan is one such best example who doesn't mind stripping for saving a life. During a candid chat with Nabanita Maji from OneIndia, Rozlyn revealed her motive behind her stripping acts. Here are some excerpts from the interview:

You had spent Rs 10 lakhs for a song dedicated to Aishwarya Rai. Was it only out of love or a publicity stunt?

Had it been a publicity stunt, I would have released the video. The video is not commercial, so I did not broadcast it. I just dedicated it to Aishwarya, since I am her big fan.

Tell us something about your upcoming film Dhamaal Choukdi?

It is a comedy film. The casts are Sanjay Mishra and Mukesh Tiwari. People think that a beautiful girl can never do comedy, but you can see me doing comedy in every scene. The movie is complete and will be released soon.

Do you think stripping is the easiest path towards Bollywood?

I did not strip to get into Bollywood. I had a purpose. There are girls who do so in order to get noticed. But I wanted to get noticed as a person doing something good for the society, but not for a greed to enter Bollywood.

Justify your statement, 'Nudity for noble cause, not for ogling'.

I have a noble cause to strip. My stripping video is a very neat and clean. I just wore a simple shirt and tried to enlighten all the backward women, who are completely unaware of breast cancer. I stripped for a social cause, unlike others who can go nude to cheer the cricketers. For me, even if one woman gets saved from this disease, I will be grateful. In fact, our Government should do something about this issue.

What's your take on the stripping acts by Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra?

I think Poonam Pandey is a semi-porn actress. She is a jobless lady who is desperate to get noticed at any cost. Sherlyn Chopra has at least done few films, but I haven't seen Poonam even in an ad or on ramp. Did you see any of her decent pic? I am sure none have come across Poonam's decent picture. People have seen her only in a bikini.

There are people who doesn't accept your stripping act for a good cause (especially men), as they still think it's an act for ogling. What message would you like to give them?

I don't care about their view. If men take it in a 'dirty' manner, is that my fault? I am here trying to save a life, but there are people who can never understand this. Even men do suffer from breast cancer. So, the men who are making fun of my acts, I have a question for them - 'All the guys out there making fun at me, please check whether you too are suffering from this deadly disease or not?' (Male too suffer from breast cancer, but it is only 2%).

Do you think porn movies should be legalised in India?

No, government should not legalise porn movies in our country. India already has so many rape and eve-teasing cases, legalisation of porn films will add up to more such cases.

Sunny Leone got Mahesh Bhatt's Jism 2. What's your take on this?

I think it's not correct to welcome a porn star in Bollywood. You have seen how Sunny's entry in India affected the minds of youth in the country. It evoked curiosity in them to learn more about pornography and Leone's adult works. Mahesh Bhatt should have casted some other actress for Jism 2.

What are your future plans?

Currently, I want to take this Breast Awareness Campaign to the next level.
