Bollywood is a place, where destiny and fortune changes faster than time. We call it a dream world, but only those people who get a chance to reach the zenith of their succeeds here, knows it well and how tough it is to survive and retain the superstar image here. And one of toughest things for a star is to make his/her comeback after a hiatus.

Just like the male stars, there are several actresses as well, who had once charmed us with their beauty and acting skills, in fact, once upon a time, they had conquered the Box Office by topping the chart of the best female stars in the industry. But today, a few of them are lagging behind. For some, their personal lives took an upper hand, and for a few others, their career took a backseat for some unknown reasons. Let's find out who are those actresses, who were once the queen of Bollywood, but now desperately need a hit to boost their sinking career in Bollywood.

Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu: This Bong bombshell became an overnight sensation with 2002 horror flick Raaz. After this, Bipasha again hit the bulls eye with Jism, opposite to John Abraham. Her other films like Race, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Dhoom 2 were the other major hits that made Bipasha one of the top-notch actresses of Bollywood.

But in 2010, misfortune struck Bipasha's successful Bollywood career and she delivered a string of flops. Films like All The Best, Lamha, Dum Maaro Dum, Players and Jodi Breakers kicked Bips out of the league the A-listers. One of the reasons behind Bipasha's downfall is believed to be the reason of her committed relationship with John Abraham. Now John and Bipasha are no longer a couple, but the latter has time and again hinted that her commitment towards John was one of the reasons why she rejected several meaty roles. "When I was in a committed relationship, films like "I Am Legend" and "Pink Panther 2" (which Aishwarya Rai subsequently did) came my way, but I foolishly let them go. I lacked ambition because my priorities were different at that point. But right now, I am focusing on my work. I am aggressively different from what I was two years ago. I want to do great work and won't let interesting projects go again," Bipasha Basu admitted in one of the interviews after her break up with John Abraham.

Bipasha is single now and is leaving no stone unturned to make her foray back to the top league of the female stars. Now all hopes are pinned on Bipasha's thumping comeback with Raaz 3 into the big league of Bollywood. With Raaz 3 round the corner, Bips has joined hands with the Bhatts after 10 long years. So, now that Bips has got the Bhatts' midas touch, will this boost her sinking career?
