Ranbir-Deepika bonding stories – A publicity stunt?

A lot is being said about Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's on screen and off screen bonding these days. One can't help but wonder whether it is all a gimmick to promote their forthcoming film, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, directed by Ayan Mukerji!

It is no secret that Ranbir and Deepika were once the hottest couple in B'town. Their breakup was a topic of huge discussion among gossip-mongers. We are all also aware of how the filmmakers take advantage of the personal lives of the celebrities to promote their film. In fact, it is common knowledge that both the filmmakers and the actors 'play along' in this so-called 'marketing campaign'!

As Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor are cast opposite each other in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, it is obvious that they will be spending a lot of time together. Everyday, we get to hear from the sets that the two were seen cosying up to each other and having a good time. Recently, Deepika and Ranbir were seen having a blast in Manali. The closeness between the two is leading to speculations of their alleged patch up. As for Ranbir and Deepika, both continue to say, “We are just good friends.”
