This incident took the entire nation by storm after superstar Shahrukh Khan allegedly slapped Shirish Kunder at a private party thrown by Sanjay Dutt. This became the hottest topic of gossip amongst all and the blame game too went for long, until SRK reconciled with Kunder's wife Farah Khan.
Shahrukh Khan Wankhede incident:
When Shahrukh Khan was accused of entering the grounds and misbehaving with the Wankhede stadium officials, the actor too retaliated back verbally. Khan was also banned from entering the stadium. The scuffle was an unwelcoming news for the star, who was in the spotlight in January for punching Shirish Kunder.
Shahrukh Khan-Priyanka Chopra affair
We still don't know what was it that developed between these two stars. Reportedly, things went haywire in SRK's personal life and PC's professional life after these two were rumoured of having an affair. It was said that Priyanka had to face a hard time due to this and was almost boycotted in several events.
Rajesh Khanna-Anita Advani Affair
Just after a few days of superstar Rajesh Khanna's death, each day a fresh controversy popped up, which became the talk of the town. Out of these, the biggest was when Khanna's alleged live-in relation partner Anita Advani demanded a share of Kaka's property. The year 2012 fell hard on Rai after a few pictures of hers sparked an intense debate about motherhood, weight, and the apparent "obligations" of those in the public eye. Saif Ali Khan Taj Fight
The Chhote Nawaab is generally known for his mild behaviour. But his recent high-profile fight with an NRI at the Taj Hotel has changed our perception. Saif was trapped into legal hassle after he had allegedly punched an NRI Iqbal Sharma, while he was dining with his family. This controversy took it's pace, as this happened exactly a few weeks before Saif-Kareena's movie Agent Vinod's release.
Satyamev Jayate controversy
After highlighting social issues affecting the society, Aamir Khan, in the fourth episode of his show, turned the spotlight on healthcare and malpractices in the medical profession. He highlighted unethical practices, corruption and scandalous revelations in medical treatment. This exposure landed Aamir in the bad books of the Indian Medical Association (IMA). Later, medical institutions demanded an appology from Aamir for accusing doctors of malpractices on a national TV. But, a strong-willed Aamir remained unapologetic about the entire issue.
Priyanka Chopra-Karan Johar controversy
It was said that Priyanka's relationship with Karan Johar had turned sour due to the former's alleged closeness with SRK. In fact, it was also believed that KJo had chosen to become Priyanka's rival, in order to please good friend Gauri Khan.
Ek Tha Tiger controversy
While the entire nation was going gaga over Ek Tha Tiger's massive release, the hot gossip of Salman Khan hitting Katrina Kaif came to the picture. A magazine report claimed that Salman was again back to his bratty ways after he had allegedly beaten up ex-flame Katrina when she walked in wearing a "figurehugging, cleavage-revealing dress that showed too much skin" on the sets of the film Ek Tha Tiger. Though these reports were claimed untrue by Katrina's friend, we still have no idea what had exactly happened!
Son Of Sardar-Jab Tak Hai Jaan controversy
Last but not the least, the year ended with one of the biggest controversy between these two massive releases. Reportedly, Ajay Devgn and his company were compelled to take legal action because of the "monopolistic activities" of the Yash Raj Films. ADF has accused YRF of manipulating exhibitors and distributors to release their film Jab Tak Hai Jaan in more theatres than Son Of Sardar.
