Vishal-Shekhar voted the Best Bollywood Musician of the year 2011

Composers Vishal-Shekhar have been chosen the Best Bollywood Musician of the year 2011. In the year end poll survey conducted by Oneindia.in, the readers of the portal have voted the duo as the best composers for their music in the movies like Ra.One and The Dirty Picture. AR Rahman has landed in second spot in the Top five list.

Oneindia had nominated five top musician of year like Vishal-Shekhar, AR Rahman, Himesh Reshammiya, Pritam, Sohail Sen. Thousands of music lovers cast their votes for the month long polls survey. Musician duo Vishal-Shekhar bagged a total of 44.9% votes and landed in the top spot.

However, AR Rahman, who has only one Bollywood movie for his credit in 2011, has got 30.7% votes for his music for the movie Rockstar. Himesh Reshammiya is in the third place with 15.2%. Unfortunately, Pritam Chatrborthy, who has several hits like Ready, Desi Boyz, Mausam, Dum Maaro Dum and Thank You for his credit, has landed in fourth position with 6.8% votes.
