100 years of Indian Cinema - Amitabh Bachchan's most famous dialogues

He is one of the most respected and well known actors of Bollywood. The man of the millennium - Amitabh Bachchan made his acting debut in Saat Hindustani. Though the film did not do any wonders at the Box-Office, Amitabh won his first National award for the same. But the movie that made him an overnight star was Prakash Mehra's Zanjeer.

Not many people know that initially Zanjeer was offered to Dev Anand, but the actor rejected the role. Once the director of the movie Prakash Mehra had said that the entire credit of Zanjeer's success goes to Amitabh, who had made up his mind that if Zanjeer fails he would return to Allahabad and never come back. This movie also give him the title - The Angry Young Man.

In the year 1973, he married his Zanjeer co-star Jaya. Even after marriage, they did many films together including the most famous - Abhimaan, which was released after one month of their marriage.

Zanjeer

Deewar

Shahenshah

Agneepath

Pura naam, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, baap ka naam, Dinanath Chauhan, maa ka naam, Suhasini Chauhan, gaon Mandwa, umar chhattis saal.

Don

Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin, naamumkin hai.

Coolie

Bachpan se hain sar par Allah ka haath, aur Allah Rakha hai mere saath, baazu par hai saat sau chhiyaasi ka billa, bees number ka beedi peeta hoon, kaam karta hoon coolie ka aur naam hai Iqbal.

Kaalia

Hum jahan khade ho jaate hain, line wahi se shuru hoti hain.

Namak Halaal
