Diwali was celebrated with great pomp and show in Bollywood. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Aditya Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Sohail Khan, Aamir Khan too hosted a grand Diwali bash for all his friends and the film fraternity.
Amitabh Bachchan's Diwali party (November 2nd) was the talk of the town. However, many of the biggies of Bollywood hosted grand Diwali parties. Aamir Khan hosted a huge Diwali bash on November 3 at his new residence since his Pali Hill house is undergoing renovation.
The actor with family is presently put up at a two rented floors of an apartment at Carter Road in May this year. Just like last year, this year too saw the who's who of the industry make their presence felt. The invitee list included Anushka Sharma, his Dhoom 3 co-star Katrina Kaif, Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra, Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Vidya Balan, Salman Khan and Raju Hirani among many others.
Though Salman is a good friend of Aamir and has been invited for the bash, Salman was not able to make it because of his busy schedule. He however made his presence felt at his brother Sohail Khan's Diwali party.
Aamir Khan has been very busy with his films P.K (Peekay) and Dhoom 3 this year. Hope this Diwali brings joy and prosperity in the life of our favourite Aamir Khan.
