Aamir Khan Finally Opens Up About His Role In Dhoom 3

There have been a lot of speculations and rumours about Aamir Khan's role in Dhoom 3. Everyone's curiosity levels were high to know more about this much awaited film of the year. So we finally had Aamir Khan who spoke about his role and his movie during the launch of the trailer yesterday, October 30.

Like most of us, Aamir too is looking forward to the day Dhoom 3 will hit the theatres. We generally tend to term him as an antagonist in the film but he now tells us that is not a typical villain in this action thriller. "The villains in Dhoom series are different; they are not the regular villains. I am not playing a black kind of a villain who does only bad work. He has his own circumstances and situations to do things. I am not playing a quintessential villain," Aamir explained.

Aamir Khan, the perfectionist also told us that he loved the script when he first heard and it even touched him. So it looks like Aamir has put his heart and soul into this movie where he will be seen in a new avatar. What's interesting is that Aamir Khan revelead that his role in Dhoom 3 was the toughest in his 25-year long career. This comes as a surprising news to us because we have seen work wonders in his previous films like Ghajini, 3 Idiots etc.

Aamir even mentioned to us that he will be seen playing the role of a gymnast and therefore he needed to have a certain physique in this one. "I did a lot of hard work for it. I have worked hard on my body for two years," he said. Well, the hard work has definitely paid off. We can see the result in his perfectly toned body in the trailer of the film.

Salman Khan is planning to launch the trailer of his upcoming film Jai Ho somewhere close to the release of Aamir's Dhoom 3. Asked if this would affect his Dhoom 3, Aamir said, "Salman is a dear friend and anything he does will only help us."

"In 25 years of my career, this is the toughest role ever. There were challenges in terms of performance. The stunts were amazing. Luckily I haven't broken any bone. The stunts were difficult but they were safe," Aamir explained.

"We hope we will create Dhoom, hope people enjoy the film. I am not looking for record. I want audience to like what we have made. They should get entertained and satisfied after watching the film," said Aamir Khan at the launch.

When Aamir was asked to speak about his co-stars, he said, "I was looking forward to work with Abhishek and Uday. Abhishek is good and straight in the film but in reality he is not like that. While Uday in the film is 'tedha' but he is good in real life."

Aamir was asked about the strategy for Dhoom 3. "There is no particular strategy for Dhoom 3. I hope I have creative differences with producers in every film in good way. YRF is a great production house. They know the business well and are good in marketing," he said.
