Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan to walk at Cannes Film Festival - Pictures

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be attending 66th Cannes Film Festival beginning May 15 this year.

Amitabh Bachchan will be walking the red carpet since he has played a pivotal role in Australian director Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby. It is the opening film at the festival and will set the tone for an exciting 12-day French Riviera extravagant. The Great Gatsby is based on the novel by American author Francis Scott Fitzgerald and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire in the lead.

On the other hand, Big B's daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's spokesperson has confirmed that Ash will attend the 66th Cannes Film Festival. "She will be attending the Cannes film festival this year as well as the L'Oreal Paris ambassador as she has been doing in the past," read the statement. The Festival de Cannes is due to take place from May 15th to 26th, 2013.
