The Diwali fever seems to have caught up the B-Town stars, who not only wished a safe Diwali to their fans, but also celebrated this special festival with pomp and pageantry. One such big name from the showbiz was the megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who celebrated this special day with his family as well as with other stars too.

The Bachchans threw a lavish Diwali party at their residence on Saturday night (November 2), that was hosted by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her hubby Abhishek Bachchan. Reportedly, it was a grand Diwaly bash, and several B-Town stars had attended the do. Celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Rishi Kapoor, Diana Penty and many more were spotted at the Bachchans' Diwali event.

Amitabh Bachchan also took to the Twitter to wish his fans, "Happy Diwali .. and a video greeting to all. The festival of lights, Deepawali, Diwali, Divali .. in what ever way you spell, makes just one statement .. peace and prosperity.The houses are lit with the brilliance of decoration .. inviting Goddess Lakshmi in prayer and fulfilment. Fireworks abound around". On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan too wrote on Twitter, "Wish you all a very happy and prosperous Diwali. Big love".
