The film is about how a man improvises to get through the web of lies which he himself has built. Amol Palekar plays a young man who lies to his boss that he has a identical twin brother who is of no good. Utpal Dutt plays his boss who shows paternal love towards Ram and contempt towards Lakshman.

The movie was a laugh riot and it had ensemble cast of the finest theatre actors in the country. The story is about two con men, trying to win over the love of heiress and protecting her from an evil mobster. Chupke Chupke is a 1974 film starring Dharmendra as Prof Pyarelal and Sharmila Tagore as his wife. The plot of the movie is that Sharmila Tagore is in awe of her Jijaji (Om Prakash) and this causes Dharmendra to develop an inferiority complex. He decides to show his wife that he as intellectual as her jijaji and decides to play a prank on him by pretending to be a driver at his house and conversing only in pure Hindi. He also makes him believe that he is having an affair with his sister-in-law.

Sanjay Dutt plays a lovable gangster in the movie who has lied to his parents that he is a doctor. His parents come to know about the truth and he sees his father disgraced in front of him. Munna decides to become a doctor and with the help of his sidekick Circuit (Arshad Warsi), he gets admission in a medical school. The story is about how Munna transforms and treat people's illness with love and in an unorthodox manner.

This is a classic comedy about how a simpleton Bhola, essayed by Sunil Dutt, falls in love with his neighbour, Bindu (Saira Banu). Bhola pretends that he is a good singer to impress Bindu, but the fact is Bhola just mouths the words while his friend Guru (Ashok Kumar) does all the singing. Mehmood in the role of Masterji, the South Indian music teacher of Bindu, is hilarious. The acting of Sunil Dutt, Ashok Kumar and Saira Banu is excellent.

3 Idiots

3 Idiots

3 Idiots was released in 2009 and turned out to be a huge hit among the masses as well as the classes. Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani starred in this epic comedy. The movie is about how a student who believes that it is important to learn new things rather than mug them. Boman Irani, who played the role of Virus, was excellent as the college principal who is a strict disciplinarian, and Aamir played the role of a college student to perfection.

The sequel to Munna bhai M.B.B.S proved to be a bigger success than its predecessor. Lage Raho Munna Bhai released in 2006 with Sanjay Dutt reprising his role as the good natured gangster who falls in love with a radio jockey, played by Vidya Balan. In the movie, Sanjay Dutt is the only person who can see the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi and through his interactions with the Mahatma, helps people solve their problem by practicing Gandhigiri.

Hera Pheri has received a cult status among the comedy movies of bollywood. The movie was directed by Priyadarshan and starred Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The story is about three men who are down on their luck and are facing financial problems. They find an answer to all their money problems one day when they get a call from a kidnapper. Paresh Rawal won the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian that year for his role of Babu Bhaiya, the landlord who suffers the physical consequences of the conflicts between Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty.

Chennai Express

Chennai Express proved to be a humongous hit among the audience. The movie is the biggest grosser of Bollywood till date and was declared an all-time Blockbuster. Lead actors Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone left the audience in splits with their conversation in songs, most of them in tunes of Shahrukh's earlier movies. The one-liners, spoofs on SRK's dialogues from his other films and at the end the movie the tribute to Rajnikanth, 'Lungi dance' all proved to be a hit with the public.
