Bollywood Celebs At Dahi Handi Celebrations

Krishna Janmashtami,a festival filled with enthusiasm, saw Bollywood celebrities attending dahi handi celebrations at various venues. Dahi Handi has always been a big event in Mumbai and Pune. Like every year, there was fun and frolic this time too.

This year, we had a big surprise from superstar Shahrukh Khan as he attended two dahi handi events in Mumbai, This is the first time he is celebrating this festival by seeing the breaking of dahi handi.

Dahi handi is a pot which is filled with butter milk and it is placed at a a certain height. One has to break this by hitting the pot with a coconut. This part of the festival is to celebrate Lord Krishna's playful and mischievous side, where teams of young men form human towers to reach a high-hanging pot of butter and break it.

First Shahrukh Khan was seen breaking the pot at Politician Ram Kadam's Dahi Handi Celebration at Ghatkopar. Later in the night, King Khan made his way to attend the dahi handi event at NACP leader Sachin Ahir's NGO in Worli, Mumbai.

Meanwhile few other celebrities had their own gala time during this festival. Actors Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez participated in dahi handi celebrations in Thane. Actress Bipasha was spotted in Pune at a celebrations.
