As each year passes by, there is always something new to look forward to. Bollywood celebrated 100 years of Indian cinema and the films clearly show the evolution. Along with fresh stories, innovative ideas, new plots and more, Bollywood also brings fresh faces to this world of entertainment each year.

Three fourth of 2013 has passed by so quickly and like always, this year too saw some new actors in the tinsel town. We saw some from a filmi background, and a few others were all new to the showbiz. This year we even had a few celebrities from the South Indian industry making a foray into the B-Town.

Just before the debut of a new actor in the silver screen, there is much hype about them and this obviously follows judging their performances. There will always be nervousness, some fingers crossed, awards and appreciation. Some make a grand entry into this glittery world but there will also be some who go unnoticed.

For a few of the actors, this starting point in their career takes them places and they only keep growing from here. In the past, we have seen many fresh faces evolve into stars. Pooja Salvi

Pooja Salvi is a model who made her Bollywood acting debut in Rohan Sippy's romantic comedy Nautanki Saala. She is now called the 'Dhak dhak' girl because her song from the film.

Poonam Pandey

Poonam Pandey does not need much introduction. She became famous in the social media after the statements she made during the cricket world cup. The actress made her debut in Nasha. This film was not accepted by a large part of the society because of her skin showing posters.

Dhanush

Dhanush, who is a famous Tamil actor made his Bollywood debut with the film titled Raanjhanaa. He was cast opposite Sonam Kapoor in this film where he played an obsessive lover.

Amit Sadh

Amith Sadh who has participated in the original seasons of Nach Baliye,Bigg Boss and Fear Factor made his foray into Bollywood with Kai Po Che!

Ram Charan Teja

This star kid who has already got a tremendous fan following in the Telugu film industry made his grand entry in Bollywood with Zanjeer. However, this movie did not keep up to expectations.

Kristina Akheeva

Kristina Akheeva is a model-turned-actress who has made her Bollywood debut in the movie Yamla Pagla Deewana 2. She is a Russian born and Australian bred actress who is already a popular face in the advertising world.
