Check Out: Bollywood celebs who will grace the Cannes film festival 2013

The wait is finally over as the Cannes season has finally arrived. The Cannes Film Festival, which features the biggest names in independent and mainstream cinema, opens on May 15, 2013, and will witness a few great personalities of the Bollywood industry.

The festival will yet again see its favourite Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, walking the red carpet. It has been reported that, for the first time, Aishwarya Rai will be walking the red carpet with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

Other stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Amisha Patel, Sherlyn Chopra, Rajinikanth, Freida Pinto, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and a few others will grace this year's Cannes Film Festival. Interestingly, Vidya Balan will make her first appearance at Cannes this year, while Amitabh Bachchan will walk the red carpet at Cannes for his Hollywood debut The Great Gatsby.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been the hot favourite at Cannes every year. She will walk the red carpet this year as the brand ambassador of beauty brand L'Oreal Paris, which is completing 16 years as the official make-up partner for the Cannes festival.

Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan will be part of the jury panel of 66th Cannes Film Festival, while Nandita Das is on the jury panel for Cine Foundation & Short Films segment.

Amitabh Bachchan

Aishwarya's father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan too will be gracing this year's Cannes Film Festival. He will be attending the festival for his Hollywood debut The Great Gatsby, which will premiere at Cannes.

Amisha Patel

Amisha Patel, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Susi Ganesh will be at Cannes for the premiere of their film Shortcut Romeo. Amisha will be wearing a Manish Malhotra sari on the red carpet.

Sherlyn Chopra

Sherlyn Chopra will also walk down the red carpet as her upcoming film Kamasutra 3D will be screened. Reportedly, Sherlyn will doll up in various Indian avatars to promote the film at the most prestigious film festival.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam will be attending the Cannes as the brand ambassador of beauty brand L'Oreal Paris. "On my way to the Cannes Film Festival. Really excited to walk the red carpet," Sonam tweeted.

Karan Johar

Like Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Bannerjee, filmmaker Karan Johar too will be spotted at the festival. He'll grace the Cannes for his contribution for the short film Bombay Talkies.

Dibakar Bannerjee

Dibakar Bannerjee will also grace the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival Festival, 2013. He will be attending the festival for his short film Bombay Talkies.

Zoya Akhtar

Zoya Akhtar too will be seen at the Cannes for her movie Bombay Talkies. She will be accompanied by Dibakar Bannerjee, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar.

Anurag Kashyap

Like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, even Anurag Kashyap will make his second appearance at the Cannes. This time for his movie Bombay Talkies.

Freida Pinto

Like Aishwarya Rai, even Freida Pinto has been a regular face at the Cannes. She'll walk the red carpet as the brand ambassador of L'Oreal.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui

This will be the second time Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen at the Cannes. Three of his movies: Bombay Talkies, Dabba and Monsoon Shootout will be premiered at the festival.

Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth's most anticipated movie Kochadaiyaan may have its teaser release in Cannes Film Festival. This will be his debut at the prestigious festival.
