Dhoom 3, which is all set to hit the screens on December 20, has soured up the curiosity level of the moviegoers. The main highlight of Dhoom series are the superstars in the negative role and their superbikes. Audiences were bowled over by the superbikes, which were used in Dhoom. Dhoom series are always popular for its chasing scenes with superbikes.

Dhoom franchise lovers are not aware of the story behind Dhoom's director Sanjay Gadhvi using superbikes. Here it goes: Earlier, the crew had planned to use the sports cars for the movie instead of bikes, but later director Sanjay Gadhvi decided to use superbikes as the actor's face could be clearly seen. It is said that Sanjay was himself a bike lover, which made him to use the high end superbikes like Suzuki Hayabusa and Suzuki Bandit.

More than a story, there are few bike lovers, who watch Dhoom just for the sake of watching bike stunts and chasing scenes. Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra were seen in all the Dhoom series. In Dhoom 1, Abhishek and professional bike racer Ali (Uday Chopra) was seen on Yellow colour Suzuki Bandit. They were on a mission to catch Kabir (John Abraham), who will be riding Red Colour Suzuki Hayabusa.

Director has used the same model bikes for Jai and Ali in Dhoom 3. They will be seen on BMW S 1000 RR, which has 193 horse power. The bike is built with 999cc engine.
