Grand Masti: Anything In The Name Of Entertainment?

Bollywood's latest release Grand Masti has unexpectedly received a thumps up from the Indian audience. And with this, we yet again fail to understand the taste of our Indian filmgoers, who on the other hand, had great words for the films like Kahaani, Barfi, 3 Idiots, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. It's sometimes hard to believe the fact that our people have actually loved a sick movie like that of Grand Masti and unfortunately, we are left with no choice, but digest the reality of the bad taste of our fellow moviebuffs.

With Grand Masti earning some impressive Box Office numbers, here's a question to all- "Does entertainment mean anything and everything in our country?". As per reports so far, Grand Masti has emerged as the clear winner by a wide margin, fetching the fourth biggest start of the year, after Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Race-2. In fact, the social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook are abuzz with the news of Grand Masti and people couldn't stop gushing about the film and the star performances in it.

Sex sells and so does comedy in India. But, something like Grand Masti is not actually funny, it's rather cheap and disgusting. I would rather go on saying that if you are in a rare mood to make yourself feel sick, please go and watch Grand Masti. The film will kill you every moment with crude, boorish and horribly sex-starved jokes. What's even worse is that the film doesn't beyond the words like 'f***k', 'b***s' and 'a***s' and will suffocate you with non-stop adult humour, in the name of entertainment! But, does all this matter anyway?

A movie is made targeting the audience, and Grand Masti has hit the bull's eye and is currently rocking across the nation.
