IIFA 2013: Winners' List
Finally, we are here with the winners list of the much-awaited 14th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards, which was held at The Venetian Macao in Macau. The winners were announced on the third day of IIFA 2013. With technical awards announced on the second day (July 5), all eyes were set on the coveted awards like Best Film, Actor, Actress, Director, Music and few others, that were distributed last night on July 6.
The technical award that was held on Friday, where Anurag Basu's Barfi grabbed the major number of trophies including Best Screenplay, Cinematography and Makeup among others. Following that, Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur won two awards - Best Action (Shyam Kaushal) and Best Dialogue (Zeishan Quadri, Akhilesh, Sachin Ladia and Anurag Kashyap) which is shared with Juhi Chaturvedi for Vicky Donor.
The grand night kick started with Boman Irani and Vir Das' 'Santa Banta' act. Both the actors were hillarious. Like every year, even this time, we got to see some big stars like Shahrukh Khan, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Prabhu Deva and many more performing during the grand night. Best Actor - Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor (male) award for his amazing performance in Barfi.
Best Film - Barfi
Anurag Basu's Barfi won the Best Film award. Barfi is a romantic comedy about a mute and deaf man and his relationship with two women.
Best Actress - Vidya Balan
Vidya Balan got the Best Actor (female) award for her performance in Kahaani.
Best Debut Male - Ayushmann Khurranna
Ayushmann Khurranna won best debut male award for Vicky Donor.
Best Debut Female - Yami Gautam
Yami Gautam won best debut female award for Vicky Donor.
Best Director - Anurag Basu
Anurag Basu received the Best Director's trophy for Barfi.
Best Story - Barfi
Yet another award for Barfi for Best Storyline by the Anurag Basu and Tani.
Best Supporting Actor Male - Annu Kapoor
Annu Kapoor took the award for Best Supporting Actor (Male) for the film Vicky Donor.
Best Supporting Actor Female - Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma won Best Supporting Actor (Female) award for Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Best Villain - Rishi Kapoor
Rishi Kapoor won the award for Best Villain in Agneepath.
Best Comic Role - Abhishek Bachchan
Abhishek Bachchan got the award for Best Comedy in Bol Bachchan.
Best Jodi Of The Year: Deepika-Ranbir
Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone won the Best Pair award at IIFA.
Best Debut Director - Gauri Shinde
Gauri Shinde won the award for Best Debut Director for English Vinglish.
Best Music Director: Pitam
Pritam won the Best Music Director award for Barfi.
Best Singer Male - Sonu Nigam
Best Singer (Male) award went to Sonu Nigam for Agneepath.
Best Singer Female - Shreya Ghoshal
Best Singer (Female) award went to Shreya Ghoshal for 'Chikni Chameli'.
