let
free
from
the
jail
yesterday.
Pancholi,
who
was
arrested
for
allegedly
abetting
Jiah's
suicide,
was
released,
after
the
Bombay
High
Court
granted
him
bail.
Reportedly,
The
Bombay
High
Court
has
ordered
Suraj
Pancholi
to
pay
a
surety
of
Rs.50,000,
surrender
his
passport
and
report
to
police
whenever
required
for
investigations.
As
per
the
media
reports,
the
Bombay
High
Court
had
observed
that
Suraj
cannot
be
held
solely
responsible
for
the
"impulsive" act
of
Jiah
Khan.
The
HC
had
observed
the
letter
(on
the
basis
of
which
Suraj
was
arrested),
purportedly
written
by
Jiah
and
recovered
from
her
house,
could
not
be
taken
as
a
suicide
note
as
it
is
not
addressed
to
anyone
and
was
undated.
Suraj
Pancholi,
son
of
actors
Aditya
Pancholi
and
Zarina
Wahab,
was
in
a
relationship
with
late
Jiah
Khan.
After
six
days
of
Jiah's
death,
Jiah's
mother
Rabiya
Amin
Khan
gave
a
six
later
suicide
note
to
police.
In
the
suicide
note
Jiah
mentioned
about
the
physical
and
mental
trauma
her
boyfriend
gave
her
when
she
was
alive.
Jiah
also
wrote
about
rape
and
abortion
in
the
note.
After
getting
this
suicide
note,
the
Mumbai
police
arrested
Suraj
for
abetting
Jiah's
suicide.
