Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra's father Dr Ashok Chopra passed away this Monday afternoon, after suffering from cancer. Ashok Chopra's cremation was held on Monday evening at Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai. His prayer meet, that was held on Tuesday, was attended not only by his own family, but also by several big names of the industry.
Several Bollywood stars, including Rishi Kapoor, wife Neetu Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Shilpa Shetty, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza. Surprisingly, the meet was also attended by PC's so-called rival Kareena Kapoor and her sister Karisma Kapoor.
The prayer meeting was held at JW Marriott in suburban Vile Parle. Filmmakers like Madhur Bhandarkar, Rohit Shetty, and Rakesh Roshan too were spotted at the do. Dr Ashok Chopra is survived by his wife Madhu Chopra, son Siddharth and his actress daughter Priyanka, who has always been a daddy's girl.
