Bollywood's heartthrob Hrithik Roshan underwent a brain surgery on Sunday at the Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. It is said that Hrithik got hurt while shooting an action sequence for his film Bang Bang, which also features Katrina Kaif. The actor's surgery was successful and he would be discharged from the hospital in next 48 hours.

Sussanne Roshan's best friend Gauri Khan and many well wishers like Karan Johar, Sanjay Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Rajpal Yadav and Uday Chopra visited the hospital to meet Hrithik.

According to recent reports Hrithik Roshan's wife Sussanne and his parents-Rakesh Roshan and Pinky Roshan were present outside the operation theatre throughout the 50-minute neuro-surgery.

After the surgery Rakesh Roshan told the media, "The surgery is over and Hrithik is fine. He should be out of the hospital in the next 48 hours."

Before going for the the surgery, Hrithik Roshan spoke to the media and talked about his condition, "I am going to go through brain surgery today and want you to know that I am going in with absolute power to recover fast. My thanks to all of you for using the power of your mind to contribute to my life. Love you all".
