Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's most-awaited movie Besharam is all set to release tomorrow October 2, 2013. And looking at the Kapoor lad's past achievements in the industry, there's a lot of hope and talks surrounding his upcoming release. Directed by filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, Besharam is a romantic comedy film and will also see the Australia-born Pallavi Sharda opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

If we look at the past records created by Ranbir Kapoor (Rockstar, Barfi, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), it looks like the actor is giving a tough chase for money to the B-Town Khans. With Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani managing to cross the 100 crore mark within a matter of one week, Ranbir has become one of the most dependable stars in the industry.

And if we got to believe the latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor is now vying to break his own Box Office record with Besharam. "Ranbir has a great fan following both in domestic and international circuit. The difference between him and the Khan's has reduced drastically. Besharam is bound to become a success as the star of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and the director of Dabangg, Abhinav Kashyap, are coming together and that has got the fans very excited." says exhibitor-distributor Akshaye Rathi.

Ranbir is working with his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor for the first time in Besharam. But interestingly, Rishi-Neetu wont play Ranbir's parents in it. They are rather anti-Ranbir in the flick.

Ranbir's character in the movie, Babli is a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan and he was instructed to keep a hairy chest like Big B.

Controversy

Ranbir Kapoor is playing a punjabi boy in Besharam, hence he had to learn punjabi for his role. Ranbir plays a common thief in the movie named, Babli.

Besharam's Wide Release

Besharam will be released in at least 3600 screens in India. Besharam, which is distributed by Reliance Entertainment will be the biggest release in Hindi film history till date.

For the title song in Besharam, Ranbir will be seen in an avatar similar to Rishi Kapoor's look from the 1980 movie Karz. Ranbir dons a metallic golden outfit and shakes his booty.
