Ranveer Singh follows strict diet: Rare and Unseen Pictures of Ranveer

Ranveer Singh, the young Bandra boy is working towards a leaner frame. Ranveer wants to look great with a chiseled body for his upcoming film Gunday and so he has been following a strict diet. He follows a no carb diet with no rice, roti, noodle or pasta. He also follows a stringent workout regime two days before the shoot when he has to flaunt his body.

Ranveer Singh is paying a lot of attention to his physique these days since many shots in his upcoming film Gunday require him to show off his body. Hence, Ranveer follows a strict diet every time he has to shoot a scene where he has to flaunt his abs.

Two days before he has to flaunt his body, Ranveer goes on a specific diet and two hours before the shoot he avoids eating altogether. Simultaneously, he works out hard and only after that goes in front of the camera, informs a source. "He is very particular about his protein bars, he only eats home made food and does 50 sets of crunches and push-ups before the shot," adds the source. "Ranveer has many shots in which he is required to reveal his body and he wants to give a perfect shot every time," confirms the spokesperson.

The first shooting schedule of the film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar has already started in Kolkata. Besides Ranveer Singh, the film stars Arjun Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan. Set in Kolkata of the early '70s, it tells the story of coal theives, who go on to become powerful members of the mafia.
