Bollywood hottie Anushka Sharma was a successful model before entering into films. She began her modelling career at the Lakme Fashion Week as a model for Wendell Rodricks' show. In 2008, she was signed by Aditya Chopra for a three-film contract with Yash Raj Films and made her Bollywood debut with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shahrukh Khan.
Anushka Sharma got many praises for her role in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Just after the film got released, film critic Taran Adarsh wrote about her, "Anushka looks the character and surprises you with a confident performance. It's no small achievement to share screen space with an actor of the caliber of SRK and Anushka manages it very well from start to end."
Anushka Sharma is all set to burn the screen once again with her upcoming film Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola opposite Imran Khan.
