Born to the Royal Pataudi family, actor Saif Ali Khan is one of the most sought after actors of Bollywood today. Saif, who is happily married to Kareena Kapoor now, has been a victim of criticisms and controversies for his past marriage and personal life. Saif was earlier married to actress Amrita Singh, who was almost 12 years senior to the Chhote Nawaab.

It is said that the ex-celebrity couple Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh makes it an ideal material for a fairytale romance. The duo met each other at a party, and it was then, their relationship developed into friendship and finally turned into love. Saif married Amrita secretly, since his parents were against this relationship. The couple gave birth to two children: Sara and Ibrahim.

But, the marriage did not long last and the duo finally filed for a divorce. The exact reason behind this break up is still a mystery, but many say that it was Rosa (Saif's girlfriend), who came in between Saif and Amrita.
