Brothers – Sohail and Arbaaz Khan

Salman has always been big support to his brothers. When Arbaaz Khan was no where seen, Salman made a movie with him, Dabangg, which became superhit. Now, it is even said that Sohail has expressed his desire to work with duo. Not only this, Arbaaz and Sohail has joined hands with Salman in promoting his organisation - Being Human.

Shera

No introduction needed to this very loyal man of Salman - Shera, the bodyguard. He says that Sallu is his boss, brother and friend. When Salman made Shera to release first look of Bodyguard (Shera made a cameo in the movie), he said he didn't even imagine that he would be given this honour. Shera said he can even give his life for Salman. It is even reported that Salman is going to launch Shera's son Tiger.

Himesh Reshamiya

It was Salman Khan, who gave break to Himesh with his film Tere Naam. He had even promoted Himesh then. They were very good buddies, but due to ego clash they had parted ways. Time is not the same always as they patched up on the sets of Salman hosted show Dus Ka Dum. If we recall, Himesh's best numbers were scored in Sallu's movies. Also, it was reported that Himesh backed out of project Sher, when he came to know that Sallu's rival Vivek will be cast in it.

Sajid-Wajid

Known as Salman's loyalists, they have composed many songs for his movies and most of them were superhits like Dabangg, Dabangg 2 and Ek Tha Tiger. The duo say that Salman believed them when no one did. In an interview, they said Salman helped them by allowing them to score music in Sohail's Pyar Kiya To Darna Kiya. They added, he helped them whenever needed, and encouraged them. What they are now is because on Sallu. They consider him as mentor and Godfather.

Hrithik Roshan

Before turning an actor, Hrithik was an assistant director under his father Rakesh Roshan and Salman worked with him in Karan Arjun. When Hrithik decided to portray the two characters with different physic in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, he phoned Salman, who recognised him and accepted his request to help him. Hrithik was trained under Sallu's supervision. But, they had fallout, when Sallu made comments on Hrithik and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Guzaarish. Later, they patched up, which was evident when Hrithik supported Being Human Foundation. Hrithik even wished Salman when he was flying for his treatment to USA.

Sanjay Dutt

Salman and Sanju baba are friends ever since they did Saajan. Salman always looked up to Sanju as his elder brother. When Supreme court sentenced Sanju five years jail, Salman Khan was among the earliest ones to reach out to the actor. Sallu (and Ajay) had even lent support to take care of Sanju's family in his absence and also promised to star in the films produced by the Dutt banner, if required. Not only this, Sallu also assured Sanju's daughter Trishala that he'll be at her door, whenever she requires help.

Mahesh Manjrekar

Mahesh Manjrekar calls Salman as 'true friend'. He said that Salman is a person who would come to your rescue no matter what, and he is the only friend of him in Bollywood. He feels that Sallu has redefined the concept of friendship and he is lucky to have him. He was quoted by leading daily, speaking very high on Salman, "I don't think there is a better human being than Salman. He is always there for you, just a call away.... Whenever I send him a message, he replies in 10 minutes. He is one guy I can call anytime." Mahesh and Salman's association with films is known to all. They made Wanted, Ready, Bodyguard and Dabangg, together.

Ajay Devgn

Salman and Ajay have been good friends ever since they did Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Not to forget, their fathers Salim Khan and Veeru Devgan were friends too. Ajay in an interview complimented Sallu, he said, Sallu is a great guy, he's honest with people who he believes are genuine, and never has issues with those that are straight. Salman, on the other end, said that Ajay is a super friend. When Ajay approached Salman for an item number in Son Of Sardar, he readily agreed and rest is known to all...

Priety Zinta

Salman and Preity share a great camaraderie. They have acted in many movies together like Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Jaan-E-Mann, etc. Preity once said that Salman Khan is her "friend for life" as he has always stood by her through thick and thin. She also said that Salman was the only person who offered to help her financially in her tough phase. She even said about Salman, "Our relation goes back ten years and he is a solid friend. Salman has a big heart. He is honest and straight forward guy." Salman even did a special song for Preity in her movie, Ishq In Paris.

Aamir Khan

Three Khans - Aamir, Shahrukh and Salman were best buddies long long time ago. The friendship of trio hit rocks and they split, but Salman and Aamir are still going strong.
One such incident which shows their friendship is still strong was then, when Aamir was back with his mother from Hajj pilgrimage. There was huge crowd and fans which gathered near airport. Aamir had to take Salman's help and his special bodyguard, who was present in the airport, did not waste any time and secured Aamir's mother.

Shahrukh Khan

The two big Khans of Bollywood - Shahrukh and Salman were once very close buddies, in fact, like brothers! Shahrukh never stopped praising Salman for his kind heart and helping nature.
Way back in 2005, Shahrukh said that Salman is a wonderful human being. He added, Salman and his family have always been on his side and his strength. Salman was very kind to SRK when he came down to Mumbai. But their rivalry started in the year 2002 on the sets of Chalte Chalte (when Sallu tried to pull away ex-girlfriend Ash and SRK tried to stop him), and is still evident now. Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Sanjay said in an interview to a leading daily, "Salman Khan is one person I'd always consider very close to my heart." He even said, "Salman has been a very good friend over the years, and so have lots of others." Salman was seen in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, the movie which resulted in a real life romance between Salman and Aishwarya. He did Khamoshi, and also made a guest appearance in Saawariya. Their rivalry dates back to Guzaarish days. Salman was considered initially for the movie, but later Sanjay chose Hrithik Roshan over him and even cast Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, which hurt Salman's ego and he made derogatory comments about the movie.

Govinda

It is said that when Govinda's career was sinking, it was Salman who offered him help with the movie Partner, which was a hit. It is also said that Sallu recommended Govinda's name for Salaam-E-Ishq. Govinda and Salman Khan shared some cold vibes since Salman refused to launch Govinda's daughter Narmada opposite him in Dabangg. But Govinda says that he is still friends with Sallu. Rumours say that Salman would cast Govinda in remake of Mahesh Manjrekar's Marathi movie.

Somy Ali

Who doesn't know about Sallu and Somi's love story, which also ended sadly! When Somy came to Mumbai, it was Salman who helped her to make her debut, Arth. Last year, Somy, who was unable to create much awareness about her Florida-based non-profit-organisation, No More Tears (NMT), took Salman Khan's help. Not only Salman, his friends too supported Somy by donating money to help the needy women.

Aishwarya Rai

It was said that Sallu recommended Aishwarya to several producers, and then happened Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which gave major success to Aish's career. After which the two started dating each other. But unfortunately, the love story did not last long.

Sneha Ullal

After breakup with Aishwarya, Salman found this look-alike of Aish and cast her in his film Lucky. Sneha was Sallu Sister Arpita's college mate and their friendship led to meet Salman. Lucky bombed at Box Office, but this movie gave her lot of recognition. She even went on to star in Sohail Khan's Aryan. She is mostly seen in South movies now.

Katrina Kaif

After a dud at Box Office with Boom, Kat was reintroduced by Salman in Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya. Salman had also helped Kat with house hunting. Kat had said that Salman had a huge role in her career and she values his opinion. Also as a person, Salman has had the biggest impact on my life. The duo were also linked up many times.

Zarine Khan

Zarine Khan, the look alike of Katrina Kaif, was noticed by Salman. She was cast opposite him in Veer. It is said that Salman suggested Zarine for an item number in his movie Ready. A source was quoted by a leading daily, "Salman has a soft corner for Zarine. Add this to his helpful nature and you get the complete picture. In other words, Salman ne kisike sar pe haath rakh diya, toh woh uske liye kuch bhi karega."

Sonakshi Sinha

Salman launched Sonakshi in Dabangg, and the girl went on to bag the sequel too. She considers Salman as her mentor. It was even said that when Sonakshi's manager walked off, Salman's manager was to handle her work. Not to forget, recently, Sonakshi took painting tips from Sallu for her film Lootera.

Hazel Keech

British Indian actress Hazel Keech was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "He's my guardian angel, my mentor. He spotted me a couple of years ago in London and said he'd keep me in mind if a suitable role came along. And he kept his word. That's how I got Bodyguard." Rumour has it that Salman loved spending time with her and has been giving tips to the actress about her career.

Bigg Boss contestents: Karishma, Niketan

Karishma Kotok: It was said that Salman would be launching Karishma in Mental. It was Salman's idea to get her to audition. He was impressed with her when she was on Bigg Boss. She was also spotted in Salman's Birthday party.

Niketan Modak: It is known to all that Salman wanted Niketan to win Bigg Boss 6. It was said that his friendship with Salman helped him reach finals. Niketan said, Salman is a great friend and a wonderful human being. He is warm, compassionate and a philanthropist in true sense. He also said that Sallu always helps a deserving person.

Bigg Boss contestents: Sana, Mehak

Sana Khan: The model turned actress developed a good rapport with Salman on the Bigg Boss show. It is said that he promised her a role for the film. Sana says she is blessed to act with Salman in Mental. When Sana was arrested in kidnapping case and was condemned, Salman came to her rescue on Twitter and supported her.

Mehak Chahal: Everyone knows about Mehak and Salman's alleged affair. It was said that it's because of Salman that she got entry and then re-entry in Bigg Boss 5. Rumours said that Mahek was head over heels in love with Salman Khan and waits for hours to receive a call from the actor.

Athiya Shetty and Suraj Pancholi

It was recently reported that Salman would launch Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya and Aditya Pancholi's son Suraj in remake of Subhash Ghai's Hero. Director Subhash Ghai has sold the remake rights to Salman Khan. It is said that Salman noticed Suraj while he was assisting Kabir Khan in Ek Tha Tiger. Though Suraj is facing tough time now due to his girlfriend Jiah Khan's death case, Salman hasn't backed out.

Narmada, Isabella Kaif, Angela Johnson

Narmada: It was said that Salman would launch his best friend, Govinda's daughter Narmada in Dabangg, which didn't happen. Rumour has it that Govinda and Salman will be doing cameo in Narmada's debut film. If this piece of news is true or not, time will only answer...

Isabella Kaif: After launching ex-GF Katrina, now Salman will launch her sister Isabella Kaif in a film which will be co-produced by him.

Angela Johnson: It is said that Salman will be launching Kingfisher girl Angela in his movie Sher Khan, which has been indefinitely postponed.

Arjun Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor was a director in past. Had Salman not recognised and adviced, he would have been behind the camera now. Arjun said Salman spent four years training and guiding him. Arjun was quoted as saying, "Today Salman is the most loved man in the country but he was not at the best phase of his career when he started helping me. He still takes a lot of interest in my career. He sees the trailers of my films and gets excited and sometimes he is surprised at what he has made out of me."

Pulkit Samrat

It is said that Salman is helping Pulkit build his career. Connection: Pulkit is engaged to Salman's rakhi-sister, Shweta Rohira. Salman was also seen in Music Launch of Pulkit's Bitoo Boss. The movie was a dud at Box Office, but he says, because of Salman's advice, he did not get disappointed. He considers Salman as his inspiration. He has been signed for Atul Agnihotri's film O Teri.

Bruna Abdalah

Remember, I Hate Luv Storys girl who made a cameo in movie...? It was said previously that she was upset with Sallu that he didn't keep up his promise of giving her a break. He even had allowed her to stay at his farmhouse and take the necessary training to learn Hindi. This Half Arabic, Half Brazilian actress Brunah Abdallah, who will be playing a small role in Salman's movie Mental was quoted by a source, "Working with Salman has been a learning experience for her. Apparently, he helped her learn Hindi, faster than her current language teacher Ujjwala." Hope that this birdie will get full-fledged role with Salman's help after Mental....!

Palak Muchhal

Heard song 'Laapata' from Ek Tha Tiger? Do you know who has sung the song? Yes, it is this young talented singer Palak Muchhal. This girl considers Salman Khan as friend, philosopher and guide. It is said that she met Salman Khan seven years back during an event and he was the one who recommended her to music director duo Sajid-Wajid for a song in Veer. It is said that he loved her voice and gave her a chance in Yash Raj banner's superhit film ETT. She was quoted as saying by a leading daily, "He is my true guiding light in Bollywood, an inspiration and an angel."
