2002 Hit-And-Run Case
Salman Khan may receive a jail term of 10 years surrounding 2002 Hit-And-Run case. A court said that the actor should be tried for a more serious charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder, and not death by negligence. The 47-year-old actor currently is facing charges under section 304(A) which attracts a maximum imprisonment for two years.
Salman Khan Chinkara Poaching Case
On 17 February 2006, Khan was sentenced to one year in prison for hunting the Chinkara, an endangered species. The sentence was stayed by a higher court during appeal.
Salman-Aishwarya Rai Controversy
Salman's affair with Aishwarya Rai was a well publicised topic in the Indian media. After their break-up in March 2002, Rai accused him of harassing her. She claimed that Khan had not been able to come to terms with their break-up and was hounding her; her parents lodged a complaint against him.
Shahrukh-Salman Fight
