Unseen Pics: Priyanka Chopra's memorable moments with father Ashok Chopra
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra's father Dr Ashok Chopra, who was fighting with cancer for a long time, passed away on Monday afternoon. Priyanka was very close to her father and she has also got a tattoo on her hands which says 'Daddy's little girl'.
Dr Ashok Chopra had been a great pillar of support for Priyanka. He was often seen accompanying his daughter for award functions and events. Ashok Chopra's illness was a big blow to Priyanka. The family came to know about his cancer in 2008. Priyanka approached the best doctors for his treatment. She even took her father abroad for the treatments. But from past 18 days he was really unwell and was on life support.
Ashok Chopra's cremation was held on Monday evening at Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai. The last rites of Ashok Chopra took place around 5.30 pm.
