It's time to blow the candles and cut the cake as Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi celebrates his birthday today, September 3. The Saathiya fame actor has just turned 37.

Vivek made his acting debut in Ramgopal Varma's film titled Company. He later gained fame with the films like Saathiya, Yuva and Masti. The actor was even appreciated for his role played in Omkara.
Apart from on screen, the actor is also known to be very passionate about helping the less fortunate. Vivek is associated with the Yashodhara Oberoi Foundation which is operated by his family. This foundation supports many Indians who are in need of dire assistance.
When we recall the time tsunami hit India, the actor proved to be a real life hero when he reconstructed an entire village by building 650 homes, temporary shelters and an orphanage too. Apart from this, Vivek also sponsors surgeries for children who are in desperate need of heart and eye surgeries.
Vivek has also been quite influential on the youth of the country as he was invited the United Nations to be the youth ambassador for India. He is more than just an actor. He is socially responsible and this makes him one of the most active members of the Indian film Industry.
