Bollywood 100 Crore Club is an unofficial designation formed by the movie trade analysts and the media to brand films that have have a grossed a net Rs. 100 crore or more in Indian box office after deducting the Entertainment tax.
From the start of 2012, the 100 crore box office target has become a new benchmark for a film to be declared a hit and those affiliated with the 100 Crore Club were considered part of the elite stars within the Bollywood film community. Zee Cine Awards in their annual awards for 2012 even added a category called "The Power Club Box Office" to recognize directors whose films had reached the 100 crore mark.
Deepika Padukone can easily declare 2013 as her lucky year. All of her three releases last year - Race 2, Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani and Chennai Express have earned Rs.100 crore. Her latest release Ram-Leela too smashed records at the box office and crossed the 100 crore mark. Going by her track record we are expecting more of her films to join the 100 Crore Club.

This 100 crore club designation has replaced previous Bollywood indications of success which had included great music, the "Silver Jubilee" or the "Diamond Jubilee".
