Ek Villain is out tomorrow and a lot of suspense has been built up on the question, Who the real villain is? Is it Sidharth Malhotra or Riteish Deshmukh? What if it's neither and Shraddha Kapoor is the villain? It'll be an interesting angle! Right?
Actors turning into villains is becoming a fashion of some sorts, with both Sidharth and Riteish playing the role of a guy with grey shades in their upcoming movie. When the trailer of Salman Khan starrer Kick was out, it gave brief introductions to the main characters of Salman, Jacqueline, Randeep and Nawazuddin. Salman's appearance bared a close resemblance to Hrithik's character in Krissh 3. While Hrithik plays a good superhero, it was being said that Salman Khan is appearing as a bad man in the movie.
From the trailer, it looks like the movie is going to be a high octane action movie. The movie is about a guy who does bad things like robbing and he is a person who does everything a little differently to get the Kick. While he appears to be a baddie till the end of the film, only to be revealing his good side in the climax scene of the movie. Now people don't start chasing me on how could I have known the ending and stuff, It's simple, I have seen the Telugu movie Kick. For those of you who don't know, Salman starrer Kick is a remake of Telugu movie Kick. Anyways let us take a look at actors who have turned villains in movies.
While Sanjay Dutt took the first step of portraying a villain in spite of being a top actor, we have to say that Hrithik Roshan's role as a baddie in Dhoom 2 was the best. In fact Dhoom series has all the leading actors turning into villains, a concept they have utilized well. So going by this latest trend of actors playing a baddie, we bring to you the list of actors who have dared to be different by playing a baddie on-screen.
Sidharth Malhotra- Ek Villain
Sidharth Malhotra is playing such a rough and tough role for the very first time. Only after the movie is out can we judge him as a villain.
He is probably the most good looking villain in the world. Though his role quits robbing people and opts for a peaceful life, he was the villain for a major portion of the movie.
He is a step ahead of other as he played the role of two villains, thanks to his double role in the movie.
Dhoom series started with John as the baddie so how can we keep him out of the list.
Riteish Deshmukh-Ek Villain
He is playing the role of an antagonist for the very first time. He seems quite convincing for a role with the grey shade.
He is the scariest villain of them all, a master piece in his own rights.
Shah Rukh Khan-Darr, Baazigar
He became a household name only due to his famous roles as the villain in the movie. Kkk...Kiran... an iconic dialogue.
Saif Ali Khan-Omkara
This is probably one of the best movies of Saif Ali Khan, he truly showed his acting capability here. Sad we are not able to see him in such a role ever since Omkara.
Emraan Hashmi-Once Upon A Time In Mumbai
A truly versatile actor, he carried the role of a don with elan. Hats off to the serial kisser!
Vivek Oberoi-Krrish 3
This provided him the much needed comeback, the actor is brilliant and just needs such an opportunity to show his skills.
