You choose your own luck and the decisions you make can either take you up the ladder or make you fall on the ground. For many Bollywood celebrities, nice offers very given from film producers. While some accepted it and added more popularity into their pockets, there are a few actors who have taken wrong decisions.

Did you know Hrithik Roshan was offered Dil Chahta Hai? It is the same legendary movie which changed the scenario of Bollywood industry. The role of Aamir Khan was first offered to Hrithik Roshan who made his blockbuster debut a year back in 2000 with daddy's production, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.

However, Hrithik turned down the role and the script was then re-framed keeping Aamir as the actor. It was one of the legendary roles which if done by Hrithik would have been his second in row hit film in Bollywood. However, Aamir too has given justice to the role of Sid in Dil Chahta Hai and the movie which also starred Akshay Khanna and Saif Ali Khan became a huge hit at the box office.

There are many other celebrities who dropped down the legendary roles which would have made them all the more popular. For example, Kareena Kapoor was offered Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 90s classic Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which was later played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Similarly, Katrina turned down the role played by Illeana in Barfi! It was a nice opportunity for Kat to come on-screen with alleged beau, Ranbir Kapoor but the actress was ready to play the secondary role and also under her rival, Priyanka Chopra.

Imagine Saif playing the role of SRK in DDLJ opposite Kajol. Saif certainly did a mistake which was much of an advantage for SRK!

Hrithik Roshan: Dil Chahta Hai

Just like Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara, Hrithik could have played the role of Sid in DCH. However, he decided to opt for other movie offers after his blockbuster debut, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.
