They have worked hard and proved that hard work and true passion can help transform from rag to Richie Rich! Some Bollywood actors started from the bottom and finally reached the pinnacle of success with their acting talent and good heart.

For example, Shahrukh Khan who is considered the King of Bollywood and Romance worked his way long to reach this position and become a name on his own. He left for Mumbai with a meager 1500 rupees and started from scratch to achieve the dream of becoming an actor.

Apart from Shahrukh Khan, Big B Amitabh Bachchan who has a mammoth figure in Bollywood also started from the base level. The boy from Allahabad spent nights sleeping on the benches of Marine Drive as he was homeless in the city then. Wealth-X's Hollywood and Bollywood Rich List showed SRK as estimated to be worth $600 million. He is the only Bollywood actor to make it to the list. However, SRK was a simple guy from a middle-class family who came to Mumbai to become an actor with Rs. 1500 in pocket.
