Earlier the impostors would create fake celebrity accounts to grab attention, now they have gone one step ahead and started hacking their real verified accounts on all social networking sites. What can be more traumatic for these Bollywood celebrities than getting their account hacked?
The impostors create fake profiles of celebrities on social networking sites and claim to be authentic thereby deceiving the fans and also causing immense trauma to the celeb themselves. This has been happening for quite a while now. Stars across the world are facing serious problems owing to their accounts getting hacked!

Now with their real verified Twitter and Facebook accounts being hacked, its become all the more troublesome for these Bollywood celebrities. Few months back actress Poonam Pandey became a victim of cyber hackers when her official website was hacked by some unknown person across the border asking her to raise voice about Kashmir's issue. The Pakistani hacker with the code name "Madleets" also wrote Pakistan Zindabad.
Sometimes the situation becomes too dangerous when these impostors hack and use celeb's verified accounts to send messages to other celebrities there by creating a ruckus in the film industry. Lets take a look at some of Bollywood celebrities whose accounts were hacked...
Karan Johar
Karan Johar became the target of cyber hacking when the hacker apparently started sending messages to all celebs from his social networking account.
Shruti Hassan
Shruti Haasan's Twitter account had been hacked but fortunately the problem was solved in a couple of hours. The actress posted "Someone has hacked my account. Please ignore weird tweets and requests." This the second time the actress has claimed such a thing, few years back too stated that her Facebook and Gmail account has been hacked.
Poonam Pandey
Internet sensation Poonam Pandey's account was hacked by an alleged group of Pakistanis. She later filed a complaint with the cyber cell department. Said Poonam Pandey, "I was shocked to know that someone had hacked my website. I registered a complaint in this regard. I want to know who the hacker is and why he maligned me. It is very stressful and hurting as it's involved a national issue."
Ali Zafar
Ali Zafar's Twitter account was hacked anonymously. The hacker foolishly tried to promote himself with a tweet, saying:"I am @nikunjbhuwalka! And follow me please I am cool :) @nikunjbhuwalka."
Trisha Krishnan
Trisha Krishnan became the victim of cyber hacking when her social networking account got hacked by some anonymous hacker. She complained to the crime branch claiming her account account was hacked.
Hansika Motwani
Hansika Motwani was shocked when some hacked her Twitter account. She posted on twitter, "for probably the 5th time my twitter id ws hacked AGAIN! been furious since morn. god knows what pleasure ppl get in hacking someones password ! so shallow n jobless never the less cyber world will take care of the rest:) (sic)."
Veena Malik
Pakistani actress Veena Malik became the victim when her account was updated with a tweet stating, '@iVeenaMalik: India sucks...!' (sic). Upon being questioned she said, "My Twitter account was hacked in December, last year, by my digital manager from India, who is part of a Mumbai-based web service company. The company continued to keep a track of my account, and after I got married, the company started blackmailing me.
Mahesh Bhatt
Shocking but true, even director Mahesh Bhatt was not spared. His Twitter account was hacked and some lewd messages were sent from his id to celebrities like Kamaal Khan, Poonam Pandey and Sunny Leone.
Sayali Bhagat
A highly controversial mail was sent to the Indian media from the alleged PR of Sayali Bhagat accusing actors like Amitabh Bachchan of indecent behavior towards her. While the PR firm stated that the mail was sent to them by Sayali herself, the actress denied the accusation claiming that her email account was hacked and she had nothing to do with it.
Chandan Roy Sanyal
Chandan Roy Sanyal's FB account too was hacked. His Facebook status read: Some tv actress Sneha Wagh keeps sending me abusive messages, and SMS. Speaking on the matter, he said "It is very serious matter. Don't know what to do. But that's not me on Facebook. My account got hacked three weeks ago and I've been unable to log in since then."
Meghna Naidu
Meghna Naidu too was not spared, She complained to the crime branch claiming her email account was hacked. The hacker allegedly tried to trash her image by telling all her friends that she was pregnant and abused by three actors from the film industry.
Kamaal Khan
Kamaal Khan known for his juvenile tweets on social networking sites got into serious trouble. When his account was hacked, the hacker started posting lewd tweets about almost every Bollywood actor right from SRK, Shahid, Sonam, Katrina, Ajay, to Ranbir, , Kareena and Priyanka.
