Ek Villain, Sidharth Malhotra: I Have Taken Out 29 Yrs Of Frustration
Ek Villain hero, Sidharth Malhotra was in town promoting his movie. The actor seems quite excited about his upcoming movie and is promoting the movie across the entire country with the lovely leading lady of the film, Shraddha Kapoor.
This is the first time we'll be seeing him doing such an intense role. The actor has worked a lot on his look for the film, also he appears to be doing a lot of action in the movie. In both his previous movies Sidharth was seen in fun role, while in this he has more angry version.
Sidharth Malhotra is also training in mixed martial arts for his next film, a remake of Hollywood movie Warrior. The film is being produced by Karan Johar and is tentatively named Warrior. If reports are to be believed then it is apparently a remake of the 2011 Hollywood boxing drama and akshay Kumar may also star in the movie.
"The film I am doing next is very exciting. It has an interesting script and it has lot of scope for two characters. It is about mixed martial arts and fighting. I will have to start training for it soon," Sidharth told. The actor is being flooded with offers. How has Bangalore been treating you?
Oh! I love the city! This is my third visit here, but unfortunately I have come here only during promotions and have not got the chance to explore the city. But last time I was in Bangalore, I went to U.B City, I really like the place, it was quite a memorable one.
Each actor accepts a project for a certain reason. What's yours?
Well, this movie is very different to what I have done before. In every way it challenged me, before I was seen in light, happy roles but this is very different, very dark and that's what made me choose this project.

would
have
frustrated
us.
So
for
me
all
that
frustration
is
out
now.

the
shooting
of
this
movie,
I
have
become
more
calm
and
cool.
Shraddha:

Who is the villain in this movie?
Both are. My villain version is more loud and physical and Riteish's is more unassuming one.
The guy with a smiley mask who is accompanying you to every promotion. What does he signify?
Sidharth:
It's
Riteish,
ha...
ha!
Because
he
is
busy
we
are
getting
this
guy
to
represent
him.
But
on
a
more
serious
note...
I
think
it
just
justifies
a
fact
that,
there
can
be
villain
in
everyone
or
everywhere.
There
is
a
dark
side
to
everyone.
Shraddha:
But
to
find
out
whose
blood
is
on
the
smiley
balloons,
you'll
have
to
watch
the
movie.
You are training in martial arts for your next movie?
Yes, it's based on this mixed martial art form so we will be hiring a trainer for that soon. In a month's time I should start training. I am actually excited about the project as again this role and movie will be quite different to what I have done so far. I always wanted to a action and superhero kind of movies.

Yes, that'll be happening soon too.
How was it shooting for an intimate kissing scene?
Well, like Shraddha said, it's quite a technical thing and there is nothing romantic about kissing in front of so many people and the emotions and camera angles have to right. There is so much to it.
Which other actress would you like to work with soon?
Deepika Padukone, she is a really good actress and hopefully I sign a movie with her soon. Earlier I wanted to work with Anushka Sharma but now I have already signed a project with her so hopefully Deepika is next.
What did you think about to get that angry look?
Oh! Lots! Actually I have taken out all my 29 years of frustration in this movie. The frustration of not becoming an actor, the struggling days and many things that went wrong.
