Humshakals will hit the theatres this June 20. This comedy riot is sure gonna make people go laughing mad. Sajid Khan and the actors are busy promoting their film Humshakals. They had a press meet in Delhi and spoke about the film.
Humshakals have three lead actors playing three roles each for the first time. Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Ashok a rich brat, Ashok a mentally challenged guy and Ashok a guy with effeminacy. The tagline of the film is 'Nine times the fun' will for sure be justified.
Saif Ali Khan readily accepted his role in Humshakals when Sajid appraoched him, as he has not done any full on comedy roles. Riteish Deshmukh has worked with Sajid in films like Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2. Ram Kapoor is doing a role in Sajid Khan's film for the first time even though their friendship goes way back to 20 years. Bipasah Basu, Tamannaah Bhatia and Esha Gupta play the female leads.
Apparently, Sajid Khan had to wait for six months to get permission to film at Chatsworth House at Derbyshire in England where Keira Knightley and Sir Anthony Hopkins had shot for The Wolfman. This is the first time ever a hindi film has been shot at that location and Sajid Khan recceed at 40 different locations in England and Scotland before.
