Best Of IIFA Awards Performances Till Date
IIFA 2014 is around the corner. As the prestigious awards are coming closer, celebrities are gearing up to make it a fun filled evening. Every year, IIFA has some brilliant hosts who add wit and humour to the event.
From Shahid Kapoor to Salman Khan, the IIFA becomes interesting for the viewers and audience, IIFA 2014 is also special like the other years. Saif Ali Khan will host the IIFA Magic of the Movies & Technical Awards, while the main award show will be hosted by Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar.

While the hosts bring entertainment, celebrities groove on the stage on their hit songs and acts. Performances add a special charm to the award shows in Bollywood. Until and unless we don't see latkas and khatkas, the event looks dull. So, to bring the Indian charm on the international platform, a lot of stars perform on their stages and make the awards night all the more memorable. For example, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya dancing together on one stage was a treat to the eyes.
Apart from the dance performances, IIFA hosts perform some funny acts which are still fresh in our mind. For example the Ruby dance of Arjun Rampal, Karan Johar and Shilpa Shetty on the stage of IIFA 2011 was funny and very sporty! Hosts Ritesh Deshmukh and Boman Irani made these stars groove on the stage wearing lehenga skirts and carrying a fur shrug.
Before the IIFA 2014 commences, here are some of the best performances seen till date.
IIFA 2011- Ruby Ki Jawani
Hosts Ritesh and Boman Irani wanted to find some Ruby who can show their jawani on stage. First target was Arjun Rampal who was made to wear a coral long skirt and a pink fur to dance on Ruby Ki Jawani. Next came Karan Johar and then the bombshell Shilpa Shetty.
IIFA 2010- Salman, Govinda and Anil Kapoor Jam
It is one of the best performances seen at IIFA 2010 stage. The three close friends danced on hit songs from Partner, No Entry and Dabangg.
IIFA 2007- Amitabh and Abhishek Shake A Leg
The father and son duo's performance at the IIFA 2007 stage was a treat to the eyes. Abhishek was performing and Big B suddenly walked to the stage to accompany his son.
IIFA 2013- Madhuri Dixit's Performance
The Queen of the silver screen and a scintillating dancer, Madhuri Dixit gave a beautiful performance on the IIFA stage for the first time! Madhuri danced on her hit tracks and also tried some different songs like Radha and Fevicol Se on the stage.
IIFA 2008- Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek & Amitabh Bachchan Dance
Big B, his son and daughter-in-law took the IIFA 2008 stage on fire when the trio performed on the super hit song, Kajra Re. The performance got a standing ovation from many celebrities including Yash Raj family and Rani Mukerji to name a few.
IIFA 2013- SRK and Shahid Reveal Anurag Basu's Crushes
Host Shahrukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor took a dig into Anurag Basu and his crush on male actors. They took the funny yet controversial occasion when Ranbir Kapoor kissed Anurag during Barfi promotions to play this act.
