Kick Actress Jacqueline Fernandez Turns 28

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez turned 28 today. The actress was born to a Sri Lankan father and a Malaysian mother. Jacqueline has rich cultural background, and her great grand parents were from Goa.

Jacqueline returned to Sri Lanka after completing her studies in Mass Communication in Australia. Before getting into glam world, the actress was a news reporter in one of the news channel in Sri Lanka. Jacqueline wanted to be an actress since childhood. During her reporting days, she was offered a modeling assignment, after which she took part in the beauty pageant and was crowned as Miss Sri Lanka 2006.

She shot her first music video for the Bathiya and Santhush. To fullfill her wish of being an actress, this Sri Lankan beauty shifted her base to Mumbai.

Jacqueline made her acting debut with the film Aladin in 2009. Despite winning the Best Debut Actress award, she failed to impress the audiences and the critics in her second film - Jaane Kaha Se Aayi Hai. However, she surprised everyone with her third movie, Murder 2 in which she showed her sexy and bold avatar. The actress was next seen in films like Housefull 2 and Race 2, which too were successful at the box office.

Jacqueline's career got a new dimension with her recently released film Kick, in which she was paired opposite superstar Salman Khan.

Jacqueline Fernandez was crowned Miss Sri Lanka in the year 2006 after which she shifted her base to Mumbai to fullfill her wish of being actress.

Jacqueline made her acting debut with the film Aladin in 2009. She also won the Best Debut Actress award for her acting in the film.

Murder 2

Jacqueline showed her sexy and bold avatar in her third film Murder 2 in which she was paired opposite actor Emraan Hashmi. The movie was released in the year 2011.
