Arpita Khan, Salman Khan's sister is getting married today. Her sangeet ceremony took place in Mumbai on Sunday and her mehendi ceremony took place in the Hyderabad's Falaknuma palace.
All the Bollywood celebrities are arriving at the function and the pre-wedding celebrations are happening in full zoom. While Salman had left early to make all the necessary preparations, the rest of the family followed later.
Arpita Khan's mehendi ceremony happened in a very glamorous way, the bride wore a maroon lehenga with gols work on top. Malaika Arora too showed off her exquisite lehenga she wore for the sangeet ceremony. Amrita Khan who attended the function too looks beautiful in her pink lehenga.
The wedding ceremony at Hyderabad's Falaknuma Palace tonight is expected to be a star-studded affair. Salman has already sent invites to Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee.
Mika Singh and Elli Avram are said to performing on the wedding day, Mika tweeted, "I have already done so many performances this month.But tonight is going to be a special one with family! My best wishes to dear #Arpita #Aayush and many many congratulations to @BeingSalmanKhan bhai and the entire family."
This is probably the biggest wedding Bollywood industry has ever seen, though the most expensive wedding has been Aishwarya and Abhishek's, this wedding cost may very soon cross theirs.
Arpita who had previously dated Arjun Kapoor is getting married to her longtime boyfriend Aayush Sharma. He is from a business family but very soon he'll be making his Bollywood debut as he aspires to become an actor.
