Pics: Shahrukh Khan's Grand 49th Birthday Celebrations

Shahrukh Khan celebrated his 49th birthday with much fan fare at Mannat. The road was flooded with his fans right from November 1st midnight and continued to be present till November 2nd night.

Shahrukh Khan posted a number of pictures showing about lakhs of people gathered outside his house. While in the middle of the night he just chose to greet and wave at the fans, giving them flying kisses etc, through the day he entertained many fans and celebrated his birthday with them. The actor had got tons and tons of cakes to cut, with less time he chose to cut only a few and spent the rest of the time posing with the fans and meeting them.

The actor after the midnight surprise from the fans, tweeted, "So many beautiful people outside Mannat. Thank you all for celebrating my birthday with such ownership and love. Very humbling..."

Through the day, he was showered with love and affection and Shahrukh could not have had a better birthday, he posted, "Have spent the whole day & last night waving to the sea of loving ppl who collected outside the house. Thanx for making my B'Day so special."

This was indeed a special birthday and next year when the actor will turn 50, the fans galore will be uncontrollable. He said, "Next year it's going to be more special as I will be turning 50."

He further added, "Earlier seven to eight people used to come here and celebrate my birthday. Now media has also increased and also my fans." Going by this, the celebrations next year will definitely be uncontrollable.

According to the actor's statement yesterday, he will be starting to shoot for his upcoming movie Fan. With Happy New Year's success, it just became a double treat for him this birthday. Check out the grand birthday celebrations of the actor...
