Shahrukh Khan is known as 'The King Of Romance' but one look at his life and career, we realize he has now become 'The King Of Controversies And Fights'. SRK has fought with half the fraternity from Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan to Shirish Kunder.

He has been time and again popping up in the news for some or the other fight in Bollywood, the cricket stadium or even the lamest controversies. For a change, SRK has off late been popping up for his supposed patch-ups with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn, but what we must observe is that he was not the first one to take the step. The other actors were cordial enough to give him a hug and SRK obliged. Even when it came to the matters of the fight with his close friend Farah Khan's husband, it was Farah who waved the white flag and not SRK. Farah Khan along with her husband Shrish Kunder, brother Sajid Khan and close friend Sajid Nadiawala went to Shahrukh Khan's home, Mannat and spent a day sorting out the issues and today Farah Khan is already ready with a new movie, Happy New Year starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Shahrukh Khan tends to attract controversies from all sides, in fact he has become one of the most controversial actors in B-Town owing to either his celebrity status, religion or behaviour. He came under a lot of scrutiny when news of him allegedly going for foetal sex determination of his reported surrogate child broke out. The government even issued an investigation in the matter. Though the BMC had received a birth report from an Andheri clinic stating that a boy was born to Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri through surrogacy, the civic body was clueless if and where, a sex determination test was conducted.

Rumours Of SRK Going For Foetal Sex Determination

When Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan going for a third baby surrogacy news spread, speculations that the celeb-couple went for sex determination test were rife. The government even ordered to probe an investigation.

When Hafiz Saeed Invited SRK To Pakistan

In an interview to a magazine, SRK said, "I sometimes become the inadvertent object of political leaders who choose to make me a symbol of all that they think is wrong and unpatriotic about Muslims in India... I have been accused of bearing allegiance to our neighbouring nation rather than my own country..." Reacting to his statements, Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed has asked Shah Rukh Khan to move to Pakistan if he feels ‘insecure' in India.

When SRK stated that he would like Pakistani cricketers to participate in the third season of Indian Premiere League. Shiv Sena threatened to stall the release of his film My Name Is Khan.

SRK Got Banned From Wankhede Stadium

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials lodged a police complaint against Shah Rukh Khan for his alleged misbehaviour at the Wankhede Stadium. They even decided to ban him for life from entering the premises.

SRK And Salman Khan's Fight

The rivalry between the two has been out in the open for a really long time. In 2011, on Koffee With Karan, SRK publicly apologised to the actor saying: "If Salman is angry with me, it is 100% my fault." And in the last season of the same show Salman said that the two will always remain close friends as their friendship dates back to several years but due to this fight they cannot be as close as they were before.

He allegedly slapped Shirish Kunder at Sanjay Dutt's bash. Farah Khan SMSed reporters saying: "Shahrukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way 2 sort out a problem, n that its means the person who's hitting has either a personal or professional crisis going on, n it saddens me 2 see him doing the same (sic)." The truce happened after Shirish, Farah, Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, went to SRK's home.

SRK And Abhijeet Bhattacharya

The singer told in an interview that the actor should apologize to him for not giving him due credit in Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om. To this, SRK quipped: "Isn't it a coincidence that whoever doesn't want to work with me becomes famous?"

SRK's Airport Controversy

In August 2009, SRK was detained at the Newark Airport in New Jersey for nearly two hours because of his last name.

SRK Again Got Detained At Airport

King Khan and Nita Ambani had to address students at Yale University. While Nita and the rest of their group were cleared immediately, Khan was stopped and was given immigration clearance only after about two hours. "Whenever I start feeling too arrogant, I always take a trip to America. The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom," Khan said, addressing the students at the Yale University where he was honoured as a Chubb Fellow.

In his column for a leading newspaper Gavaskar termed John Buchanan (coach of KKR) a "failed former cricketer making a living telling international players to do what he couldn't do". This lead to a war of words between the two.
