Pics: Shower Of Kisses At Happy New Year Sharabi Song Launch

Happy New Year cast and director Farah Khan launched the promotional song of the movie, Sharabi last night. Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah were all seen at the launch event, only Abhishek Bachchan was missing from the scene.

The song actually plays in the end of the movie in theatres with the end credits playing along and the entire cast and crew are seen dancing to this song. The video that was launched yesterday was not played at the theatres, it is a new video comprising of the cast doing some funny moves to the beat and is actually quite an entertaining video.

It was choreographed by Ganesh Hegde, and sung by Manj, Nindy Kaur and Vishal-Shekhar. As much fun the Sharabi song seems, unfortunately it has landed into trouble with the RDB music group singer Surj.

This song was first released in 2012 by the RDB music group. The group was formed by three Indian origin British brothers; Surj, Manj and Kuly in 1997. After the death of Kuly in 2012, the group disbanded. However in the film, the song has been credited to the music composers of the movie, Vishal and Shekar.

It is said, the song had been sold to Red Chillies Entertainment with fake documents by one brother Manj. However, when his brother Surj learnt about it, he sent a notice requesting credit.

Surj told a leading tabloid, "It's a shame that the film has been caught in Manj's and my split. As the sole lead member of RDB, we continue to perform new and old hits regardless of other people claiming ownership. In spite of this, I wish Shah Rukh Khan and the Happy New Year unit its deserved success."

Unperturbed by these issues the cast had a blast at the song launch and were seen showering kisses on each other. Check out the pics of showering kisses...
