Shruti Haasan in a never seen before avatar for her upcoming movie Tevar. The actress is not playing any role in the movie but will be seen performing a item number in the movie.

Tevar is directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Boney and Sanjay Kapoor. It is an upcoming Indian action-romance film written by Gunasekhar and has film stars Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles. It is a remake of director Gunasekhar's 2003 Telugu film Okkadu, starring Mahesh Babu and Bhoomika Chawla.

Shruti Haasan debuted in Bollywood long ago but we had never seen the actress dance and Sanjay Kapoor, the co-producer of the movie has finally made it happen. The actress is performing alongside hunk Arjun Kapoor on an item number titled 'Madamji'.Going by the looks of it, the song appears to be raunchy rustic number.

Shruti Haasan has not just danced but she has also reportedly given her voice to Sonakshi Sinha for a romantic number in the movie. Southern siren, singer, composer and actress Shruti Haasan decided to sing a lovely romantic number for Sonakshi in Tevar. The music directors Sajid-Farhad felt Shruti's voice has a soothing yet refreshing quality to it and is perfect for the melodious romantic number. Hence the offer landed to her ad she readily agreed.

International Punjabi singer Imran Khan of Unforrgetable album has also recorded a track (LETS CELEBRATE) for the film and has also shot the video for the same song. The film is scheduled for release on January 9, 2015 and we can't wait to see what movie the father-son duo, Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor respectively will bring us.
