Filmmaker Mohit Suri has always denied that his latest release Ek Villain is not adapted from Korean movie, I Saw The Devil. But after watching the Bollywood movie, we can surely find a lot of similarities between the two films. Mohit's film stars actors Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.

I Saw The Devil is a tale of murder and revenge. When we saw the trailer of Ek Villain, some similarities were clearly visible. "That's just one dialogue that I have taken from the Korean film's promo, just like I have taken another dialogue from the film Jack Reacher" is what Mohit said on the similarity questions.

Ek Villain released last Friday (25th June) and after watching the Bollywood version, we can find a lot of similarities with the Korean thriller film. For example, the heroine of the movie is killed within the first few minutes of the movie. Similarly, to attract the protagonist's attention, the actual villain in the movie kills the heroine's father which is also seen in I Saw The Devil.
