Namastey London has apparently been put on hold for the lead actor, Akshay Kumar is busy with a number of projects and same goes with the lead actress as well, Katrina Kaif's schedule too is stuffed with back to back films.
The fact that Namastey London has been put on back burner and we are not sure id this project will ever see the light of day, we are short-listing a bunch of such Bollywood sequels who have similarly vanished into thin air.
Akshay Kumar is currently busy with his projects for the coming two years and he is not be able to shoot for the sequel in the current situation. Actress Katrina Kaif too is busy shooting for her next film Phantom opposite Saif Ali Khan. If Akshay is busy promoting his film Entertainment that is going to release this Friday, then Katrina is busy finishing Bang Bang, Phantom and Jagga Jasoos.
Akshay also has film Warrior which stars Sidharth Malhotra and is being produced by Dharma Productions. So currently Namastey London is as good as being shelved. Even No Entry Mein Entry is yet to start filming, as lead Salman Khan is booked with films till 2017 making it extremely difficult for the makers to start filming the project.
Similarly a number of sequels that were announced are no where to be seen, either due to the actor's busy schedule or due to a fallout between the actor and director, whatever the reason a number of sequels are yet to see the light of day.
