Bollywood has time and again been in the news for taking inspiration from Hollywood, be it movies, songs, stunts or even the movie posters. But now the tables have turned with Hollywood seeking inspiration from Bollywood songs.
Our country and Bollywood movies are known for their music culture and songs, so it was quite obvious for the Hollywood to be taking inspiration from us. Recently popular singer Will.I.Am collaborated with Cody Wise for It's My Birthday song which was inspired from Prabhudeva's famous song Urvasi Urvasi. Will.I.Am made his own version of this A.R.Rahman composition and spinned it up as It's My Birthday. The song is good but we have to say, the original song is thousand time better.
If you thought the reach of our music was just limited to Hollywood, then here is a shocker, many of the popular Siberian singers are using our Bollywood music in their albums. Remember our Dhoom series trademark song, Dhoom Machale? Goga Sekulic has sung a Siberian version of the same song, these Hollywood biggies would have obviously payed for using the music but nevertheless, they having used Bollywood music is really something we can show off now.
