Will Alia Bhatt Beat Deepika Padukone's Record?

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has been on cloud nine all this year with three back to back hits including Highway, 2 States and most recently Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

Alia is one of the most young actresses in B-Town now and the cute diva has made a big name in the industry in a quick span of time.

Although, Deepika Padukone certainly can be considered as the reigning queen of Bollywood, young and talented Alia is apparently a big competition for Deepika.

To have a flashback, Deepika Padukone has become one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood after her four back to back hits last year. Deepika made it big in 2013 with four hits one after another including Race 2, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and Ram Leela.

On the other side, Alia Bhatt has already bagged two hits including 2 States starring Arjun Kapoor and Highway along side Randeep Hooda in just half a year. Alia received all round applause for her performance in the two films from both critics as well as audience.

And her latest film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania featuring Varun Dhawan also made a whooping start at the Box Office and is expected to be another name in the 100 crore club.

Now, Deepika is geared up to be seen in the upcoming film Happy New Year starring Shahrukh Khan and Alia will soon start shooting for her next flick Shaandar with Shahid Kapoor.

Well, it will be interesting to see if Alia can beat Deepika's record of four hits in a year and who ultimately comes up as the real 'Queen' of Bollywood.

Alia's latest film is Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania featuring Varun Dhawan in opposite which got released last Friday. The film made a superb start on the first day itself and is expected to reach Rs 100 crore soon.

Race 2

The film Race 2, sequel to Race, was a multi starrer flick and it was the first Bollywood film in 2013 to enter the 100 crore club.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani starred Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. The film was a huge success at the Box Office and added more applauds for Deepika.

Chennai Express

Deepika Padukone-Shahrukh Khan starrer Chennai Express is one of the biggest blockbusters and broke several records, both in domestic and international market.
