Akshay Kumar, fondly known as the Khiladi of Bollywood, has made successful action thriller movies with stunts that no one else can do. The actor, has come up with yet another action packed movie titled Airlift.

While every other Bollywood movie is based on love stories. Akshay Kumar's, Airlift, is a clear winner for the term, 'different'.

It's been very long, since Bollywood took real life incidents and made a movie out of it. Airlift, is based on a real life war, which occured when between Saddam Hussein's Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990.

The trailer of Airlift is so gripping, that Bollywood personalities took to Twitter and appreciated the movies plot. Film-maker Karan Johar, tweeted as, "Super trailer!!! Films like these are so rare!! Must watch!!!"

Arjun Rampal, who is busy shooting for his upcoming flick Rock On 2, in Shillong, tweeted as, "Awesome trailer of #Airlift congrats to @nickadvani @akshaykumar T Series @vikramix @Purab_Kohli looking forward to this one."

Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who is currently shooting for Aanand L Rai's next, along with Ayushmann Khurrana, got excited about the trailer and tweeted as, "Loved loved the teaser for #Airlift.Taken the craft a notch above. Am actually excited about watching it."

Airlift, is a one of the rare movies in Bollywood, that would showcase the heroism of Indian Government by bringing back the stranded Indian's to their homeland.

In fact, after seeing the heroic acts of the Indian Government, an entrepreneur from UK, Richard Branson, sent his Virgin Airlines to Kuwait, and brought UK citizens back to their homeland during the turmoil. Now, would Airlift, feature Richard Branson's heroics too, is still not known.

Airlift, stars Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in the lead. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on January 22, 2016.
