While he says that there is not much work out there for him at this age, he still continues to do hit movies like Piku and Shamitabh. He also endorses the highest number of brands and the best part is, he is the highest paid actor in India and even made it to the Forbes highest paid actors list along with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

Later the actress apologized for it, when Big B was asked about the apology, he had said "Jo beet gayi so baat gayi."
When the actress was questioned in an event, about wishing him personally this birthday, she said, "I would like to wish him personally. I don't like to wish people like this (in public). I think relationships are personal thing and I would like to wish Amit-ji personally."
